HELP GUIDE

Basically, if you have used any IRC client before you will have no problems using this one. Infact its extreamly easy to use and is crammed packed full of features. I found that it was just a case of trial and error in getting to know the controls.

The Basics:

The Frequently Asked Questions Bit:

Type the following: /msg nickserv register password your@email.address

password = your choice of password, just dont forget it!

your@email.address = your email address

This is really simple, just type: /action

You can also do an action by using the action scroll down text column that is located at the bottom far left of the java applet. It comes with a nice range of pre-installed moves why not try them all!

Theres more! You can even describe your mood with pictures of faces. Each little face has a different expression and you use them like this:

locate the image pop up box by finding the scroll down text box on the bottom left of the applet. It is the second text box from the left. Click on the word 'image' in that box. A pop up box should appear. Just click on the required image and a text representation of that image will appear in the box where you type your messages. Type your message (if you want to type a message) next to the text representation that you just created and press enter! Bobs your Uncle and now a graphical face expression will appear on the screen for all to see!

Its much easier to do than it is to explain lol!

Just type in the command: /whois nick

nick = name of person you want to know about

Type: /msg nick message

Where nick = the persons name who you want to message.

So you thought that was simple? This irc has its own message centre built in.

Yes, just point and click and you will be taken there as if by magic!

Why anyone would want to leave the room I have no idea, still I better tell you before I get done for hostage taking!

Just type in the following: /part#room

Where room = name of room you want to leave

There is a colour option pallet right next to the box where you type in your messages. Just click on a colour and type in a message as normal and thats it.

I think I have covered most of the basic features but as I said it is much easier for you to explore the java client than it is for me to explain it. If you have any further questions/problems then please hail me at novaq@startrekmail.com
